A statement-making pin/pendant from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in rosy 18kt gold and topped in sterling silver, this piece has a unique open wirework design. Golden feathers are lined with Rose Cut diamond-encrusted flowers, which graduate in size. Single bezel-set diamonds line each flower stem, and a lustrous cream-colored pearl sits atop two layers of scalloped decoration. The pin is topped by two larger diamonds and a flourish design, and it hangs from a matching bail when worn as a pendant! The bail secures by a hook latch on the pin's backside, hidden behind the top of the piece. The pin stem unscrews from the piece and the latch collapses, making this a comfortable, versatile piece. A beautifully crafted Victorian piece, this would be a special addition to any collection!

Measurements: When worn as a pendant, it hangs approximately 2.5" in length. The pin measures 1 5/8" tall, 1 1/4" wide, and an overall 1/2" deep excluding the pin mechanism.

Condition: The piece is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and sterling setting. There is a natural patina on the surface of the silver, typical of a Victorian-era piece. All of the diamonds and the pearl are intact and securely set. The bail, the hook bail, the screw pin, and the collapsible latch are all secure and in good working condition.
