An incredibly lovely sweet pea pin/pendant from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! This beautiful piece is made of 10k yellow gold and portrays the shape of a sweet pea flower in bloom with realistic three-dimensional detail. The entire face of the piece is covered in a detailed painted design with an enameled surface. The petals have hues of purple and soft white throughout with green on the leaves. The lifelike appearance consists of four separate petals that overlap each other and curve naturally, with delicate folds and scalloped edges. Resting at the top of one of the petals is an estimated .05ctw Old Mine cut diamond in a gold bezel setting. The back of the piece reveals a hook bail and horizontal bar pin, making it easy to hang on a chain as a pendant, or fasten to a favorite garment and wear as a brooch. The pin clasp is marked "10k".  It's a wonderful and feminine piece that would make a beautiful addition to any collection!

Measurements: The flower measures approximately 1 1/4" long and is 3/4" wide. The piece measures approximately 1/2" tall.

Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or enamel work. The diamond is secure in its setting and in good condition. The bail is intact, and the pin clasp is secure and in good working condition.
